Monna Morton States: “How does art heal, how do artists use art as a healing mechanism, for themselves, for the viewers, for those suffering from loss or pain? As artists we will go into our creative spaces to express our feelings using our various techniques and materials to pour out our emotions. This exhibit is a collection of works from Philadelphia artists who use their art to show expressions of healing, triumph over tragedy, and the spirits of ancestors who watch over us.”
