Lady Dove Performs Spoken Poetry @ Black Art Exhibit

Pheralyn Dove aka Lady Dove will perform her original spoken poetry at the closing reception for an amazing exhibit of Black artists. The work has been on view during Black History Month in two separate galleries at the Chester County Art Association. “Visions In Bronze, Gypsum and Charcoal,” is a solo show by Richard Blake. The group show, “A Black Thread Through Time: A Personal Journey of Black Artists,” features works by Lamar Brikus, Chad Cortez Everett, Thomas Hamilton, Jr., Cardoza Jacks, Terrill Kevyn Johnson, Van Buren N. Payne, Ben Richardson, (deceased), Jose Sebourne, Andy Smith, Dane Tilghman, R.L. Washington, Richard Watson, Samara Weaver, Gilberto Wilson. Please research and follow these phenomenal artists. The artists represented here have created a legacy that is precious and enduring. These artists have contributed a wealth of beauty, knowledge, technique and skill to the multi-textured cultural richness born out of the global African experience.
