SUMMARY:"Ancestral Oracle" on Display  - Sankofa Artisans Guild Quilt Exhibit - "Sistahs Doing Their Thang"
DESCRIPTION:“Ancestral Oracle” is my very first quilt – hand stitched from June to September 2026. I created it in  memory of my Grandmother ~ Julia McFadden Dingle Lemon. 1895 – 1978. She lived her entire life in Clarendon County\, South Carolina and was a very revered woman in her community. This portrait of her was taken in 1950\, when she was 55 years old.  I am honored to have “Ancestral Oracle” included in the Sanfoka Artisan’s Guild’s Quilt Exhibit\, “SisTAhs Doing their Thang\,” on display at the Mancuso Quilt Show\, in Oaks\, Pennsylvania September 17th to 20th.
